Popcaan cries as he stood in front of the ‘Door of No Return’ entrance at Cape Coast Castle
Unruly boss, Popcaan wept as he stood in front of the ‘Door of No Return’ entrance at Cape Coast Castle.
He visited the Cape Coast Castle to have a feel of the rich culture and of course have a fair knowledge of the pains and struggles our forefathers went through.
He post photos of himself at the entrance of the Castle with the caption; “This place and the story about it makes me very sad honestly😥…. #capecoastcastle GHANA 🇬🇭 read and educate yourself about your past and history🤦🏿♂️,” – Popcaan posted.
Cape Coast Castle (Swedish: Carolusborg) is one of about forty “slave castles”, or large commercial forts, built on the Gold Coast of West Africa (now Ghana) by European traders. It was originally a Portuguese “feitoria” or trading post, established in 1555.
